What’s Plumb Woodworks all about?

Based in Grand Rapids, Plumb Woodworks specializes in designing and building custom cabinetry, custom furniture and custom millwork for homes and businesses throughout western Michigan.

Though most of our work involves residential construction or renovation, we also build commercial fixtures, primarily for the hospitality industry and professional offices.

Here’s what you can expect when you work with us:

Expert craftsmanship. Our talented woodworkers have the experience to envision your project and the skill to take it from concept to creation.

Design partnership. Who’s our top designer? You. Our customers are intimately involved in the design process. We pick your brain, assimilate your ideas, define your desires – and then create just what you had in mind.

Good wood. Want a particular species? We can get it. We scour the Internet and regional lumber mills to find great buys, even on exotic options like alder, bamboo, spalted maple, and reclaimed wood. (Imagine stacking your dishes in cabinets made from lumber salvaged off the bottom of Lake Michigan.)

Striking style. Interested in a particular style? We can make it. Shaker, cottage, contemporary, traditional … whatever you like. And if you’re not sure what you like, we’ll help you figure it out.
